Indonsa Business Services (IBS) (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2015 by Sinothi Maphumulo. The company was incorporated on 16 September 2015 as Indonsa Investment Holdings (Pty)Ltd. On 17 March 2021, the company changed its name to Indonsa Business Services. Indonsa is a Zulu word meaning early morning star.

Sinothi is currently responsible for the operation and promotion of the company with prospective clients as well as the sourcing of required resources in order to render various services which the company is offering. The primary focus of the company is to provide business services to small entrepreneurial entities (i.e. start-ups and existing small entities) as well as large corporate entities.
